A brand new baby for us to love!We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a new little Davis in mid to late May of 2010. I am still amazed at the idea of 5 (FIVE!) children! If you didn't already know, we were serious about having a big family! We are again planning to have a homebirth with our midwife Toni.
Our children (especially Cody) still say every day, "i can't believe we're gonna have a new baby", "i can't wait until May." This seems new to them again because they don't remember much about Kate's pregnancy and birth. So it's like being pregnant for the 1st time all over again. Everything that changes and happens is so neat to them. I have 4 ooohhers and ahhhers over every little thing that goes on-I love it! My boys won't let me do anything or carry anything that might hurt the baby; my little men in the making. Claire can't stop kissing my belly and talking about "the newborn baby" as she refers to him/her. And Kate just says, "baaaby", then points and says "tummy"-so cute.
It is such a blessing to again have life growing inside me. I don't think that feeling will ever grow old. To know there is a whole other being inside me that God has given a soul, a purpose, and a destiny to bring glory to Him, is amazing! To know that this baby is moving his or her little arms and legs around and i can't even feel it yet and there is another heart beating besides mine, is just incredible. I am so thankful for the opportunity to create, carry, and give birth to a new life, again!
Children are a gift from the Lord. They are His reward. Psalm 127:3

That is so exciting.... congratulations.....how wonderful! Wow, it sure will make it fun! We are so fortunate to have 5 grandkids in one family...I think it's great. Well, you must be feeling O.K. if you're willing to travel for 8 hours. You know, you don't have to come but it sure will be fun and I sure want you to come but I remember those early days of pregnancy too! Is there anything I can do to help? Wow, congratulations again...wow!
